For Government Officials (Police, Judge, Lawyer)

Accessing the Approval Panel

1. Open your in-game chat (default: T)

2. Type /approvebusiness and press Enter

3. The Business Approval Panel will open

Understanding the Application

Each pending application displays:

• Business Name - The proposed name of the business

• Owner - The player's full name and Citizen ID

• Business Type - Industry category (Restaurant, Retail, etc.)

• Classification - Public (can trade stocks) or Private

• Description - Owner's explanation of their business purpose

• Applied Date - When the application was submitted

Reviewing an Application

What to Look For:

• ✅ Realistic business name (not memes or inappropriate)

• ✅ Reasonable description (shows RP intent)

• ✅ Player's record (check if they have violations)

• ✅ Business type matches description (restaurant shouldn't be labeled as tech company)

• ❌ Red flags: Generic names, minimal effort, duplicate businesses

Making a Decision

To Approve:

1. Click the "Approve" button on the application

2. System automatically:

   • Issues a business license (format: BL-YYYY-XXXXXX)

   • Creates business identifier for banking

   • Notifies the owner

   • Moves business to active status

To Deny:

1. Click the "Deny" button

2. Application is rejected

3. Owner is notified (they can reapply with improvements)

After Approval

• Business appears in /businesses for the owner

• Owner can now:

  • Add members/employees

  • Manage banking

  • Register for stock market (if Public classification)

  • Begin money laundering operations
