# Portfolio Management

**Viewing Your Portfolio**

In `/businessmarket` → "Your Portfolio" tab:

 

**Displays:**

* **Business Name**
* **Shares Owned**
* **Purchase Price** (average)
* **Current Price**
* **Current Value** (shares × current price)
* **Profit/Loss** (in $ and %)

**Example:**

```
Downtown Diner
100 shares
Bought: $12.00/share ($1,200 total)
Current: $18.50/share ($1,850 total)
Profit: +$650 (54.2% return) 🟢
```

**When to Sell:**

**Take Profits:**

* 50%+ return = strong profit
* Business showing decline signs
* Need cash urgently

**Hold:**

* Business still growing
* Dividends paying well
* Long-term investment

**Cut Losses:**

* Business under audit
* Owner inactive/banned
* Price down 30%+ with no recovery
